Intro to Financial Literacy

Eligibility: Open to all students of any gender ages 12-17, no prior knowledge is needed

Course Summary:
This course will teach the basics of financial literacy, covering topics like budgeting, saving, investing, the different types of bank accounts, how the stock market works, and more!
Completion Bonuses: ​Upon completion of any Girls for Econ course students will receive a signed certificate of completion, be given the exclusive opportunity to apply to the Girls for Econ Summer Internship, and be granted access to the Girls for Econ opportunities masterdoc. This masterdoc has been put together by the Girls for Econ team and includes a list of 50+ economics/finance/business internships, competitions, and summer programs students for high school students.

This course will cover the basics of microeconomics and macroeconomics, going over topics such as supply and demand, the production possibilities curve, monetary/fiscal policy, and more.
