September - October 2026 Courses

Intro to Financial Literacy

This course will teach the basics of financial literacy covering topics like setting financial goals, budgeting, investing, taxes, and much more! Students will exit this course with a strong understanding of personal finance skills applicable to everyday life.

This course will cover introductory economic concepts including supply and demand, the business cycle, GDP, monetary policy, and more! Students will gain a strong understanding of the fundamentals of micro and macroeconomics.

Economics Olympiad Info Session Workshops

Eligibility: Open to girls ages 13-18
Date & Time: Saturday, October 24th, 12:00PM EST
Location: Online via Zoom
Cost: Free
Description: In this workshop, we will welcome a guest speaker to speak about the Economics Olympiad, the largest global high school economics competition giving students the opportunity to win a free trip to Greece to represent their nation in the International Final Round. We will go over the Economics Olympiad's mission, qualification timelines, and preparation. Students will also have the opportunity to hear from an Economics Olympiad Gold Medalist and ask questions during the Q&A session.
Completion Bonus: Attendees will be granted access to the Girls for Econ Opportunities Masterdoc, a spreadsheet compiled by the Girls for Econ team with 30 of the best economics/finance competitions, programs, and internships for students.
